Tchernine (Odette) The Snowman and Company, first edition presentation copy signed by the author on first free endpaper with marginalia to a few ffs, plates, original cloth, spine a little faded, light toning and spotting to edges, dust-jacket, repairs to verso, small surface marks to lower panel, some nicks and creases to extremities, 8vo, 1960.

⁂ Odette Tchernine (1897-1992) was a British author and cryptozoologist, best known for her books on the abominable snowman. Initially a socialite and novelist, she earned a reputation between 1950-70 as one of Britain's most formidable monster hunters.
