Japan.- Audsley (George Ashdown) The Ornamental Arts of Japan, 6 parts only (of 9) in 3 vol., 2 half-titles, lithographed frontispieces and 2 titles in red and black, 78 plates, of which 48 chromolithographed, others plain and mostly heliogravure, divisional title to each part, a few text ff. loose, a few others with small repairs or laid down, occasional fraying or short tears to margins, some offsetting, some soiling and light browning, all leaves mounted on stubs, ex-Royal College of Art Library with bookplates/labels to endpapers, ink-stamp to versos of half-titles and titles and embossed stamp to foot of titles and some plates, 2 vol. in modern library cloth, sticker to foot of spines, the other in contemporary half roan, very worn with loss and covers detached, folio, 1882-84; sold not subject to return.
