Lewis (Wyndham) The Diabolical Principle and The Dithyrambic Spectator, signed presentation copy by the author on title to John Gawsworth, edges lightly toned, extremities a little nicked, dust-jacket, repairs to verso, spine toned with small tear, extremities lightly worn, 1931; The Art of Being Ruled, spine edges lightly foxed, jacket price-clipped, back strip detached and toned, 1926, first editions, original cloth, dust-jackets, spines slightly faded, spine ends a little bumped, extremities a little nicked and rubbed; and A Signed Contract for 'The Hitler Cult', a single folded sheet with some amendments and signed by Lewis, together with photocopied sheet of the reply to Lewis's bibliographers Pound and Morrow, v.s. (4)

⁂ Signed by the author designating it "J. Gawsworth's copy". Gawsworth was a protégé of Wyndham Lewis's sometime verbal sparring partner Edith Sitwell and who would the following year publish a critical study and bibliography of Lewis titled 'Apes, Japes and Hitlerism'.
