⁂ The first being a collection of poetry by the modernist poet and publisher John Rodker (1894-1955), one of the "Whitechapel Boys" along with David Bomberg, Mark Gertler and Isaac Rosenberg. A signed presentation copy to Michel Salaman: "To Michel Salaman, with John Rodker's kind regards, Aug 1927", artist and teacher, best remembered for his friendship with Augustus and Gwen John.
