Gothic novel.- [West (Jane)] The Infidel Father, first edition, 3 vol., with advertisements at end of each vol., lacking half-title to vol. 2 (the only called for), ink inscription 'Mary Franks, 1805' in each vol. to front free endpaper, some spotting, contemporary marbled calf, rebacked, spines gilt, lightly worn with a few marks, [Summers p. 365; Wolff 7111], A. Strahan for T.N. Longman and O. Rees, 1802 § Disraeli (Benjamin) Vivian Grey, 5 vol., first edition, half-titles in vol. 2 and 5 (all called for), 'Key to Vivian Grey' bound in at end of vol. 2 (lacking half-title and advertisements), lacking advertisement ff., very occasional spotting, later blue half calf by Bayntun, spines gilt in compartments and with red leather labels but faded, edges and corners a little rubbed, g.e., [Sadleir 734], Henry Colburn, 1827; and 6 others, 19th century literature, including Disraeli's Sybil, 12mo & 8vo (14)
