Dorset, Sadborow.- Bragge (John, Captain of Sadborow Yeomanry Cavalry, of Sadborow Hall) [Orders Book] Muster Rolls and Troop Orders for the Sadborow Troop of Gentlemen Yeomanry Cavalry, 32pp. including documents tipped-in on pages, manuscripts and folding documents, Commission appointing John Bragge as captain of the troop loosely inserted, folds, some browned, original sheep, lettered direct on both covers, 1803-07 & 1825; and 2 others, account books, including: Rev Henry Weare Blandford's account book for property in Weston Bambfylde, 1864 etc., 8vo (3).

⁂ First mentioned includes troop orders for musters on Grighay Down in 1807, the year of the French invasion of Portugal and the British evacuation of Corunna, and the death of Sir John Moore.
