Reliquary.- Reliquary of 9 Saints, set with a highly decorative arrangement of rolled and concertina folded paper stained gold, some perhaps recalling the vine of eternal life, each relic set above a manuscript label laid-down to pink coloured trim, the whole surrounding a white Crucifix (perhaps bone or horn), a golden star originally mounted beneath Christ's feet now dislodged and loose, all against a green fabric backdrop, housed within a glass-fronted gilt wooden frame, sealed at rear with paper, ?France, [19th century]

⁂ An attractive arrangement of 9 relics pertaining to a variety of saints, both male and female, with names given in Francophone form.
