Las Cases (Emmanuel, Marquis de) Memorial de Sainte Hélène. Journal of the Private Life and Conversations of the Emperor Napoleon at Saint Helena, 4 vol. in 8, engraved plate and 3 folding maps or plans (3 used as frontispieces, first folding plan with small repair to outer corner), vol. 5 with 4pp. "Prospectus of an Uniform Edition of the Works of the Right Rev. William Beveridge" at end, vol. 3 & 7 with 8pp. advertisements at end, ownership inscription to pastedowns dated 1927, some foxing and light browning, handsomely bound in half calf by Rivière & Son, spine gilt in compartments with Napoleonic devices and red and green morocco labels, small chipping to few spine ends, some light surface soiling, rubbed with some wear to corners and extremities, each vol. with original printed spine label laid down to rear free endpaper, t.e.g., 8vo, for Henry Colburn and Co., 1823.
