Atabey 1087, seventh edition & Blackmer 1485, second edition], folio, by Richard Cotes, 1652.
⁂ George Sandys, (1578-1644), travelled to the Levant in 1610 and spent a year in Turkey, Palestine and Egypt. First published in 1615, this extremely popular work was reprinted six times by 1673, its appeal largely due to the quality of its illustrations.
