The Man from Scapa Flow, 1933; Seventy North, 1934; Second Officer, 1935; Swept Channels, 1935; Mystery at Milford Haven, 1936; Mid-Atlantic, 1936; Mystery Cruise, 1937; Operation 'M.O.', 1938; Fred Travis, A.B., 1939; The Shetland Plan, 1939; Western Mediterranean 1942-1945, 1947, all first editions, all but the last presentation copies signed and inscribed by the author, original cloth, some worn and/or stained covers; and a signed photograph of the author on board ship, 8vo (12)

⁂ All but one of the inscribed copies are to Mrs Mitchell, the author's secretary, with various terms of gratitude e.g. "To the lady who typed it and saw it through the press - Mrs Mitchell from the grateful author Tafrell Dorling "Taffrail" 26 April 1934 The day of publication." Some also bear the bookplate of "The Mitchell's - Nithsdale".
