Hassell (J[ohn]) A Series of Original Specimens Exhibiting the Works of the Most Approved Modern Water Coloured Draftsmen, ?first edition, 17 hand-coloured aquatint plates by Hassell after Dewint, Turner, Prout, Payne, Cartwright and others, light water-staining to a few plates, light surface markings, original wrappers, lacking backstrip, short tears to edges, small loss to upper wrapper corners, light staining, rubbed, housed in modern cloth drop-back box, morocco label to upper cover, [Bobins 656], for the proprietor, by W. Molineux, [plates imprinted 1818].

⁂ Hassel's A Series of Original Specimens have other first edition copies with original wrappers with imprint 'by Thomas McLean' and dated '1818'.
