Guide (A) to Stage Coaches, Diligences, Waggons...Which carry Passengers and Mechandize from London, Westminster, and Southwark, to the different Towns in Great Britain, pp.139-142 printed on single folding leaf (creased and little frayed at edges), 5pp. advertisements at end, bookplate removed from pastedown, early ink notes to pastedown and rear free endpaper, very small hole to title not affecting text, occasional spotting, contemporary half calf, sympathetically rebacked with morocco spine label laid down, corners repaired, covers rubbed with some wear to extremities, 8vo, for W. Lowndes, 1787.

⁂ A seemingly unrecorded edition of a popular handbook, numbering 145pp. ESTC records various editions under this title, the first in 1780 and all scarce, but does not list this edition. On the title-page is a notice that this book cost a shilling, and that for an extra 6d one could have a map of London and the vicinity, which is not included in this copy.
