Smith (E[liza]) The Compleat Housewife: or, Accomplish'd Gentlewoman's Companion, ninth edition, engraved frontispiece and 6 folding bills of fare, 3pp. advertisements at end, C7 short tear to foot touching one or two letters but no loss, very light marginal damp-staining to some plates and first few ff., some light spotting, handsomely bound in green morocco by Brian Frost & Company of Bath, spine gilt in compartments, spine a fraction faded and with very small scuff mark to head, else very good, g.e., 8vo, for J. and J. Pemberton, 1739.
