England.- Calvert (Frederick) & Percy Roberts. The Isle of Wight illustrated, in a series of coloured views, first edition second issue with plate 4 captioned 'Ryde. Plate 1', tinted lithograph frontispiece, engraved map hand-coloured, 20 hand-coloured aquatint plates by P.Roberts after Calvert, tissue-guards, occasional light offsetting and scattered foxing, heaviest to frontispiece, light browning, ink gift inscription to front free endpaper, binder's sticker to rear pastedown, hinges cracked, original decorative gilt cloth, joints and backstrip splitting with loss, covers a little stained, rubbed and rather worn, g.e., [Abbey, Scenery 352], 4to, 1846.
