Hughes-Stanton (Blair) The Bull and the Beast, wood engraving, on thin Japan, signed, dated and inscribed in pencil, image 100 x 116 mm (4 x 4 1/2 in), sheet 152 x 230 mm (6 x 9 in), small loss in the upper left corner, handling creases, unframed, 1926; together with another with a sailing ship indistinctly inscribed in pencil 'Home [?]envoy', wood engraving, signed, dated and numbered from an edition of 12 in pencil, image 80 x 85 mm (3 1/4 x 3 3/8 in), sheet 155 x 110 mm (6 1/8 x 4 1/4 in), unframed, 1931; and with Gertrude Hermes' wood engraved illustration for the Cresset Press's 'The Apocrypha, according to the Authorized Version', lettered below image 'And When the young man went down to wash himself, a fish leaped out of the river, and would have devoured him', the sheet 300 x 215 mm (11 3/4 x 8 1/2 in), all unframed (3)
