Wynne to half-title and title, few small marginal chips or short tears to first and last few ff., these also a little browned and soiled, occasional passage-marking in ink or pencil, occasional annotation in an an early hand (longer ink note to A6v), the odd small stain, modern cloth, black morocco spine label, uncut, for A. Millar, 1749 § Wells (Edward) The Young Gentleman's Trigonometry, Mechanicks, and Opticks, 2 parts bound in 2 vol., general title and 4 separate title-pages (2 dated 1713), 30 folding engraved plates only (of 31), some bound upside-down, another folding plate provided in ink manuscript, vol. 2 with worming to upper blank corner towards end, occasional foxing, water-stained, modern half calf, for James Knapton, 1714; and others, most 18th century, a few 17th, 8vo & 12mo (c.25)

⁂ The third mentioned constitutes vol. 2 only (of 3) of Wells' The Young Gentleman's Course of Mathematicks (1714), although it was later published separately. The first mentioned is rare, with ESTC recording only the British Library copy.
