Hogarth (William) A Rake's Progress, the complete set of eight, etchings and engravings, good impressions of Paulson's final states, on 18th century laid paper with indistinct text-based watermarks, possibly from Mrs Hogarth's edition, platemarks each approx. 355 x 405 mm (14 x 16 in), wide margins, some marginal surface dirt, nicks and small losses, all unframed, 1735 but 1763 [or slightly later]; together with an impression of "The Laughing Audience" (P.130), the subscription ticket for "A Rake's Progress", unframed, 1733 (9)
