Scotland.- Stoddart (John) Remarks on Local Scenery & Manners in Scotland, 2 vol. first edition, half-titles, engraved titles, 32 hand-coloured aquatint plates, folding map with hand-coloured outlines, a few small stains, occasional spotting or foxing, heaviest to first and last few ff. of each vol., light offsetting and browning, bookplates to front pastedowns, ink ownership inscriptions to free endpapers, hinges cracked, contemporary straight-grain morocco, spines browned, bumping to spine ends and corners, wear to joints but holding firm, a few scuffs and stains to covers, some rubbing to extremities, g.e., [Abbey Scenery 483], 8vo, 1801.
