Speed (John) and others. Archival collection of over 55 maps, plans and estate plans of Nottingham and its environs, including two impressions of Speed's 'The Countie of Nottingham described', others by Jansson, Morden, Bowen, Greenwood, Blome, Creighton, Pigot, Saxton/Kip, and with two late 19th or early 20th century manuscript estate plans, engravings, lithographs, some pen and ink, watercolours, various sizes between 200 x 140 mm (7 7/8 x 5 1/2 in) and 810 x 590 mm (31 3/4 x 23 1/4 in) or larger, many laid down, handling creases, marginal nicks, tears and losses, some repaired, heavy surface dirt to some, the majority if not all with Library ink stamps verso of 'Nottingham County Library', all loose, unframed, 17th to 20th century (c.55)
