Bible, English. The Holy Bible Containing the Old and New Testaments, engraved frontispiece (frayed at edges with one short tear just into image, laid down and detached), lacking 3Z4 (final f. of Table at end), late 18th/early 19th century family history manuscript notes to pastedowns and verso of NT title, title lightly soiled, F8 & U5 small hole affecting few letters, M7v&M8 with abrasion and small portion torn away with loss to few words, 3N6 small loss to printed side-note, 3P7 & 3T8 small portion of abrasion with few words provided in manuscript, the odd ink annotation, the odd small marginal chip or short tear, some staining, see in particular Sig. F, including some water-staining (mainly marginal but slightly heavier towards end), some spotting, lightly browned, contemporary panelled reversed calf, worn with loss, Cambridge, Joseph Bentham, 1762; and a rather defective 16th century English Bible, 4to & small 4to (2)
