Salmon (William) Polygraphice: or The Arts of Drawing, Engraving, Etching, Limning, Painting...Colouring, Dying, Beautifying and Perfuming, fourth edition, engraved portrait, additional title dated 1675, portrait of the King and Queen and 17 plates, letterpress title printed in red and black and with small ink initials to foot, I3 small rust-hole affecting few letters, some light spotting and soiling, slightly browned, contemporary calf, spine gilt and with red morocco label, spine ends and upper joint skillfully repaired, lower corner worn, little rubbed with gilt slightly faded, lower joint cracked but holding firm, [Wing S447], 8vo, Robert White, for John Crumpe, 1678.
