Charles II (King of England, Scotland, and Ireland, 1630-85).- Privy Council letter signed by several members of the council to George Morley, Bishop of Winchester, D.s. "Craven", "Shaftesbury", "Anglesey", "Arlington", "Henry Coventry", "Edward Seymour" & "John Nicholas", 1p. with conjugal blank and address panel, 1p., folio, Whitehall, 15th August 1673, on the subject of "Being informed of severall places & parishes within this Kingdome that have either made no Collections upon the Brief for redemption of his Ma:ts Subjects in Captivity", first f. with small tears along folds, torn with loss to conjugate blank where opened, slightly creased.
