Britain.- Speed (John) The Historie of Great Britaine, third edition, 2 engraved portrait plates, printer's woodcut device to title, illustrations, woodcut initials, head- and tail-pieces, lacking initial blank and index, title neatly strengthened at edges, one or two short tears to bottom edge (old repairs), 2C5 strengthened at fore-edge, large tear into text with expert repair and no loss (2N2-2P1 & 3M1-3N6), small loss to bottom edge affecting odd word (2X2), small loss to lower corner not affecting text (3Z2), scattered light spotting and staining, contemporary calf, rebacked, a little rubbed, folio, by John Dawson, for George Humble, 1632.
