Binding.- Book of Common Prayer (The), printed in red and black, double-column, some small loss to corners, scattered spotting, contemporary black morocco, rebacked retaining original backstrip, panelled in gilt with leaf and vine motifs in the corners and a gilt motif to the centre of each panel, centre panel tooled in gilt floral and semi-circle motifs, the panels filled with blind tooling, red calf spine label, richly gilt spine, gauffered gilt edges, rubbed, Oxford, by John Baskett, 1716 § The Book of Common Prayer, engraved initials, scattered spotting, previous owner's ink inscription, lacking front free endpaper, contemporary black morocco, panelled in gilt with motifs to corners and centre of each side, rubbed, bumping to corner and extremities, by John Baskett, 1725; 8vo (2)
