The Second Part [&] The Shifts of Reynardine the Son of Reynard the Fox..., together 3 parts in 3 vol., black letter, woodcut vignette to first title and several illustrations in parts 1 & 2 (some signed "E.B."), one printed upside down, advertisement leaf at end of part 1, wide margins, some light soiling or browning, a few rust-spots, part 1 with A2 & 3 slightly defective at head with loss of head-line to A3 (repaired) and stain to fore-edge towards end, Q3 in part 3 torn and repaired with slight loss to text, a few other minor marginal tears or defects, Britwell Court copy with pencil note to front free endpapers (lot 251), uniform nineteenth century tan morocco, gilt, by F.Bedford, spines gilt in compartments with six raised bands, g.e., slightly rubbed at edges, preserved together in modern cloth drop-back box, [parts 2 & 3 Wing S3512 & 3436], small 4to, by T.Ilive, for Edward Brewster; by A.M. and R.R. for Edward Brewster; by T.J. for Edward Brewster, 1701-1681-1684.
