Venison.- The Account of the Deer Killed &c at Farmingwoods from 1782 to 1802, manuscript account book, 43pp., browned, large brown stain affecting text on 4pp. still legible, original wrappers, engraving laid down on upper cover, manuscript title laid down over engraving, upper cover detached, sm. 4to, 1782-1803.

⁂ Farmingwood Hall, also known as Fermyn Wood Hall, Brigstock, Northamptonshire, the home in the eighteenth century of the Earls of Upper Ossory. The estate forms part of the Forest of Rockingham. An account book of deer killed at Farmingwood to supply local and London families. Deer were sento George III, Charles James Fox, Marquis of Lansdowne, Admiral Graves etc.
