Fabulae, collation: a-z8A-C8, roman type, Greek & Latin text partly printed in double column, title with woodcut printer’s device, woodcut illustrations by Bernard Salomon, title with contemporary ink signatures and hole to lower margin and following lea), a little soiled, a few stains, some headlines shaved, Thomas Frognall Dibdin’s copy with his engraved bookplate, nineteenth century calf with double fillet and small fleurons to corners in blind, rubbed, joints cracked, lacking label, top compartment stained, Lyons, Jean de Tournes, 1570 with 1605 & 1628 de Tournes editions, each preserved in modern cloth folder and together in slip-case; and another 1619 de Tournes edition, 12mo (4)

⁂ The second de Tournes edition, following the first of 1551, and including the fables of Avienus and additional woodcuts.
