Royalty.- Collection of letters from various members of the British Royal family and royal officials, including: Prince Edward Duke of Kent (father of Queen Victoria); Frederick Duke of York (second son of George III); William IV (as Duke of Clarence); Queen Adelaide; Prince Augustus Frederick Duke of Sussex (son of George III); Queen Victoria; Princess Louise Princess Royal; Princess Helena (third daughter of Queen Victoria); Prince George Duke of Cambridge; Prince Alfred (brother of Edward VII); Queen Alexandra; royal officials, including: Dr Ernst Becker (photographer and librarian to Queen Victoria, 1826-88); Sarah Anne Hildyard (governess to Queen Victoria's children); HP Hansell (tutor to the future Edward VIII); Francis Knollys (secretary to Edward VII & George V), on behalf of Queen Victoria, Edward VII, Frederick Ponsonby, addresses, including: Buckingham Palace, Windsor Castle, Sandringham, Balmoral, Kensington Palace, Marlborough House, together c. 100 letters and c. 10 cut signatures of British royalty, folds, some items browned, v.s., v.d., 1810 - early 20th century (c. 110).
