Boult (Sir Adrian, conductor, 1889-1983) 5 Autograph Letters signed "Adrian" and "ACB" one Autograph Letter unsigned to Trevor Harvey, together 13pp., 8vo & sm. 4to, Swanage 18th August 1944 - [London], 3rd September 1979, on various musical matters, including: in Swanage in 1944 with his wife Ann and his father in law, "We did our best to jollify with Rule Britannia & sending things philistic & otherwise, in a very full & hot Corn Exchange", and "Gramaphone [Magazine] has just come and I am greatly touched by your envoi. I somehow felt that old [Hubert] Parry must have the last word & you have given it to him so very nicely", folds (6).
