Description

South America.- Bernard (Paule) [Collection of photographs and colour diapositives relating to "An adventure film in Bolivia"], c.200 loose photographs and c.450 small photographs pasted down (most with numbering slightly affecting image), c.50 colour diapositives, some in plastic casings with ink manuscript labels, occasional tears and creasing affecting image, some duplicates, some lightly trimmed, some with ink ownership stamp and/or inscriptions to versos, sizes range from c.65 x 65 mm to c.270 x 205mm [1962-63]; and a flyer and two booklets relating to the movie (small quantity).

⁂ Paule Bernard was a pilot nurse during World War Two and a maker of travel films. She produced several photographic documentaries, films and articles, including "Un an d'adventure en Bolivie" from which these photographs are related.
