⁂ According to Jackson, the author is more probably Sarah Pearson than Susanna, a name under which she is also known, and was a native of Sheffield. Poems include "On Reading in Several Publications Many Insidious Allusions to Mrs. Radcliff's Elegant Novel, The Mysteries of Udolpho", "On Being Asked to Go to the East-Indies", "The Mysterious Knight", "On Reading Mr. Southey's Tale of Donica", and others.
