Berkeley (Anthony) The Second Shot, first edition, 8pp. advertisements, spotting to early and later ff., light browning to endpapers, map endpapers, original blue cloth lettered in black, toning to spine, spine tips and corners a little bumped, dust-jacket priced at 7/6 on spine, 5mm. short at foot with loss to bottom line of imprint at foot of spine, light toning to spine, spine ends an corners chipped, surface abrasion towards foot of spine, a few short nicks to head and foot, light rubbing and creasing to extremities, a very good example of a rare jacket, [Cooper & Pike pp.30-33], 8vo, Hodder and Stoughton, [1930].

⁂ The sixth Roger Sheringham title, exceptionally rare in the dust-jacket.
