(of 268, lacking b1, C1&2 and O3), initial and final blanks present but with loss, 53 lines and headline, Gothic type, three-line manuscript initials in red and blue and rubricated, a few instances of marginal annotation in an early hand, the odd minor marginal defect, occasional soiling, damp-stained, heavier at beginning and end, contemporary blind-stamped calf over wooden boards, metal clasps, bosses and corner-pieces, 15 small leather tabs mounted to fore-margin, lacking catches, scratched and worn with small loss to spine and some metal corner-pieces, joints split but covers holding, vellum endpapers (pastedowns from an earlier manuscript, rear free endpaper lacking), folio (315 x 215mm.), Nuremberg, Anton Koberger, 30 May, 1483.
