Fell (John, editor).- Albinus. Alkinoou eis ta tou Plat?nos eisag?g? [graece]. Alcinoi in Platonicam philosophiam introductio, presentation copy from the editor with ink inscription "Liber Johannis Fitzwilliam, Magdalen, ex dono colendissimi Dr. Fell" to front free endpaper, double column in Latin and Greek, title with woodcut device, rust hole to B1 with loss to a few letters of text, a few ff. closely shaved at head, contemporary calf, lower cover detached, lacking upper cover, [Wing A886], 8vo, Oxford, 1667.

One of John Fell's famed New Year books, presented by him to his then student who would himself go on to become a prominent nonjuror. Following the establishment of the Oxford University Press, Fell would produce annually one work annotated by himself to be distributed to the students of Magdalen College. John Fitzwilliam (died 1699) was elected fellow of Magdalen in 1661 and became the librarian there in 1662. He would become tutor to Lady Rachel Wriothesley, later Lady Russell, and their correspondence was published. On his death he left £500 to Magdalen College and his books and manuscripts to the Bodleian Library.
