Plautus (Titus Maccius) Comoediae vigi[n]ti, collation: aa10 a-z8 &8 ?8 R?8 A-V8, title in red and black and with woodcut printer's device, woodcut illustrations, decorative initials and small printer's device at end, final f. blank, 2 medieval ms. fragments tipped-in at start, repair to lower corner of title, within text verso but without loss, aa2-7 small section of lower blank corner cut away, aa4 tear within text, without loss, some water-staining at head, occasional spotting, contemporary ornately blind-stamped calf, remains of metal clasps, metal corner-pieces, rebacked, preserving original gilt backstrip in compartments, this worn at head and foot, rubbed, housed in a modern cloth drop-back box, folio (313 x 205mm.), [Venice], [Melchiorre Sessa & Pietro Ravani], [12 August, 1518].
