Ornament.- Roupert (Louis).- Cossin (Louis) [Ornamental designs for goldsmiths], engraved throughout with fine portrait of the goldsmith Louis Roupert after Pierre Rabon, dedication and 7 plates of designs by Cossin after Roupert, one trimmed to the platemark, others with small margins, all mounted, portrait 165 x 230mm, the rest c.140 x 230mm., some soiling, later library half morocco, rubbed, [Berlin Kat. 833], Metz, 1668; and 3 other albums, including one with Borch's 'Nouveau Livre de Cartouches à l'Usage de différens Artistes', title and five engraved plates of ornamental rococo cartouches from the mid-18th century, another with Jean-Louis Prieur the Elder's 'Deuxieme Cahier de Sujets Arabesques utile aux Artistes et Eleves', six plates bound with 14 others, all published by F. Joubert, and a composite album with 26 trimmed engravings of designs for goldsmiths, several from Jacques Vauquer's 'Livre de fleurs propres pour Orfévres et Graveurs', oblong folio & 4to (4)
