Being a Compendious View of All the Trades, Professions, Arts, both Liberal and Mechanic, now practised..., first edition, title and front free endpaper reinforced at inner margin with sellotape (leaving brown stain), short tear to F7 and final leaf Z2, some browning and soiling, contemporary calf, rebacked, extremities worn, [Goldsmiths' 8262; Kress 4846], 8vo, by T. Gardner, 1747.
⁂ Rare on the market with only one copy at auction in the last 30 years. Ownership signatures of John Ward (1750) and Charles Palmer (1808) to front free endpaper, with further ink annotations relating to a Mr Clements and his engagement in work in 1812 to verso.
