Cyphers.- Russell (John) A Complete and Useful Book of Cyphers..., second edition, engraved throughout with title and 24 plates, mostly monograms but including one of Charlemagne's crown, soiled, last few plates stained, modern library half morocco, Laurie & Whittle, 1794 § Rhodes (Benjamin) A New Book of Cyphers, engraved throughout with frontispiece, title and 64 plates, light spotting or soiling, Joseph Gwilt's copy with his bookplate, original boards, rubbed, rebacked in calf, T.Bickerton for Theo.Sanders, 1723 § New Book of Cyphers (A), engraved throughout with title and 58 plates light staining, later library half morocco, original wrappers bound in at end, rebacked, Carington Bowles & Robert Sayer, [c.1775]; and 2 others on cyphers, rubbed, oblong 4to & 8vo (5)
