Raphael.- Ottaviani (Giovanni, engraver, 1735-1808) [Delle Loggie di Rafaele nel Vaticano], 1 vol. only, including 2 double-sheet plates of doors lettered A and B, 14 double-sheet plates number I-XIV, and a panoramic view of the Loggia on 3 sheets conjoined, only, lacking title and letters, engravings after C. Savorelli and P. Camporesi, on laid paper watermarked 'J. Honig & Zoon', extensive early hand-colouring with watercolour and gouache throughout, full margins, plates A and B approx. 920 x 450 mm. (36 1/4 x 17 3/4 in), plates I-XIV each 1230 x 450 mm. (48 1/2 x 17 3/4 in), and the panoramic view approx. 1700 x 450 mm. (66 7/8 x 17 3/4 in), folding, plate A with section of loss repaired in the upper left quadrant, just affecting the image, plate III with marginal loss to the lower left margin of sheet, running into the platemark but not the image, plate IV with a tear and small loss to upper left corner, plates IX, XI, and XII all with repaired marginal tears, other small marginal nicks and tears throughout, some surface dirt, folds and handling creases, 19th century half morocco, corners scuffed and rubbed, somewhat worn, elephant folio, [1772-1778].
