Greene (Graham).- Duran (Father Leopoldo Duran, friend of Graham Greene and the inspiration for Monsignor Quixote, 1917-2008) 9 Autograph Letters signed to Peter Duffell, together 23pp., concerning Duffell's and others' adaptations of Greene's work, drinking wine with Greene in Spain, Greene's sadness that Duffell did not adapt any more of his novels "one of the ?worst disappointments he suffered was when he knew the impossibility of placing Monsignor Quixote's film in your hands", Greene's relationship with Catherine Walston and it's inspiration for The End of the Affair, "the real end of the book is a homage to Catherine. She broke her relations with Graham because she was sincerely repented. When she was dying Graham went to see her, but she refused to see him.
