Yorkshire, Hetton. Charter, grant by Richard [?of Hetton], to William of land in Hetton, in fee and hereditarily for his homage and service, rent two "calcaria" [spurs], payable at the "nundinas" [market-day, i.e. feast-day] of St. Oswald, manuscript in Latin, on vellum, 8 lines, slightly creased and yellowed, without seal, [August], 60 x 450mm., [c. 1200].
