Woodcut, 1525, but a later 16th century impression on laid paper with partial watermark of an eagle [Meder 224], showing some signs of wear in the block, sheet 127 x 180 mm (5 x 7 1/8 in), old restoration to the corners (unframed)

Provenance:
Two unidentified collector's ink stamps verso [Not in Lugt];
Professor David Davies (1937-2022), a specialist in Spanish painting, in particular in the works of Velázquez and El Greco;
Thence by descent to the present owners
