Etchings, both circa 1778-9, good impressions on heavy laid paper from the first editions, printed at the Calcografía, Madrid, platemarks: i) 303 x 219 mm (12 x 8 5/8 in); ii) 375 x 315 mm (14 3/4 x 12 1/4 in) (2 frames: 54 x 69 x 5 cm)

i) & ii) Professor David Davies (1937-2022), a specialist in Spanish painting, in particular in the works of Velázquez and El Greco;
