It really is one of the oldest inhabited manor houses in England..." to front free endpaper with ink ownership stamp to head, strip of browning to endpapers, original cloth, very slight bumping to spine tips, dust-jacket, light browning, spine a little chipped at head with old tape repair to verso, short tear to foot of lower joint, a few small nicks with light creasing to head and foot, an excellent example, 8vo, 1954.
