Benchley (Peter) Jaws, first English edition, signed presentation inscription from the author with a drawing of a shark "From the person who first saw a newspaper item in 1964 about a 4,550 lb great white shark caught off the beach of Long Island and who knew they couldn't make a movie of it because no one could catch and train a great white shark and the technology wasn't good enough to make a model of one. So much for what I know!" to title, original boards, dust-jacket, slight toning to spine, small chip to foot of lower panel, 8vo, 1974.
