(of 286, lacking final blank), 52 lines, guide spaces for initials, two small paper repairs to title and following f. with paper repair to lower margin, r6 slight paper flaw and K3 tiny hole, in both cases affecting a few letters, small paper repair at gutter to O1 at rear, later half vellum, folio (270 x 189mm.), Strasbourg, [Printer of the 1483 Jordanus de Quedlinburg (Georg Husner)], 1490.

⁂ Fourth edition of this important collection of moralising tales, from an active member of the late Medieval reform movement, Devotio Moderna. The work opens in praise of the art of printing and the dissemination of books throughout the world. Generally now attributed to Johannes Busch, previously sometimes to Aegidius Aurifaber.
