A Poem in Ten Books, first edition, title in Pforzheimer's sixth state ('Angel' in imprint in italic), without 'The Printer to the Reader' to head of A2r, woodcut head-pieces & decorative initials, title with neat repairs to blank corners, some other skillful corner repairs to preliminaries and few other ff., F4 small hole within text & very small to Y1, some spotting, mainly near start, lightly browned, a good copy, attractive 19th century calf, panelled in gilt, rebacked preserving original gilt backstrip in compartments with acorn motif and double tan morocco labels, g.e., rubbed, [Pforzheimer cf.716 & 718 (notes); Wing M2143], small 4to, S. Simmons, and are to be sold by T. Helder, at the Angel in Little Brittain, 1669.
