A good group of entomological works. The first mentioned is the German translation of G.A. Olivier's famous Entomologie, ou Histoire Naturelle des Insectes... Coléoptères. Karl Wilhelm Illiger (1775-1831) was a Professor and Director of the Zoological museum in Berlin from its formation in 1810 until his death. Christiaan F. Kleynhoff (1761-1819) studied medicine at Leiden; he was a poet and Professor of Rural Economics.
