Early Auctioneer's Broadside.- Particular and Conditions of Sale of the Several Valuable Leasehold Estates of William Weston, Builder, a Bankrupt....sold at Auction by Mr. Christie, ink annotations by an early hand to fore-edge, light surface soiling and a few marks, torn and frayed, mostly to bottom (slightly affecting text), approx. 315 x 200 mm, folio, 1771.
⁂ The broadside lists some of the lots included for sale. Lot 8: "A House (No.50) on the West side of Wellbeck Street, let to Mrs Blanman, as Tenant-at-will, at the Yearly Rent of £63, 0s."
Some of the conditions of sale include: "that the purchaser shall immediately pay into the Hands of Mr. Christie, a Deposit of twenty pounds per cent."
