[Leslie (John)] [A Treatise of Treasons] against Q. Elizabeth, and the Croune of England, woodcut initials, previous owner's ink signature to title, occasional marginal finger-posts and notes (one or two scored out), title trimmed at head (affecting text), lacking final 10ff. (X5-Y6) and endpapers, tiny worming to upper corner, small loss to bottom edge (N4) and short tear with old repair to bottom edge (Q2), not affecting text, occasional light staining, contemporary limp vellum, rubbed and worn, splitting at joints but holding firm, [ESTC S105464], small 8vo, [Louvain], [by J. Fowler] in the Moneth of Ianuarie, 1572.

⁂ Scarce in retail. An important political and strongly pro-Catholic work which contains a defence of Mary, Queen of Scots.
